I’m not really sure but it needs a new rear end. It’s an genuine R/T car, numbers matching rear end, 440 and auto transmission. Powered windows, a/c, and more.

How sure are you about that? I’m afraid to do any more work on it lol... Is that diffence in measurements really that bad or am I really ok. I know 1/4 is the tolerance. By the way, thank you so much for the help!

the 1/2 in the lateral works out to a 1/4 on each side you are fine.I think it is a dana,check for sure,if it is rebuild that one, its the best rear end you can get from factory,n used they are worth big dollars.

I just remembered I took the original one out and was just using this as a roller. I think the original one is a 8 3/4 maybe...

Not sure, it was just laying around. And again, this car is definitely not going to drive crooked? I was really afraid of that and I don’t wanna finish this thing for it to be crooked driving down the road. Sorry again for asking, just really concerned but I believe your word and a few others that told me it’s fine.
