You could order a clock, tachometer, or oil pressure gauge. I’m going with the tach.
As I've noted noted several times previously, the Mopar gauge shown above and the Mopar Rally gauge instruments are literally DC volt meters (showing 0-5 volts at full scale) CALIBRATED to show either FUEL, OIL PRESSURE OR TEMPERATURE, depending on the RESISTANCE of the fuel tank sending unit, the oil pressure sending unit or the coolant temperature sending unit. Those three instruments are thermal type devices, deliberately slow to respond to dampen any minor fluctuations in what's being measured....fuel level, oil pressure or temperature. ALL OF THESE instruments require a steady (+/-) 5 volt supplied by the Instrument panel voltage regulator. THE ONLY EXCEPTION IS THE ALTERNATOR or AMP GAUGE, which is powered by the current flowing thru it, either + or -.Does anyone have any knowledge of this gauge for 68-70 B bodies with standard cluster? I just purchased an NOS one and cannot find a wiring diagram in any of the literature. I was wondering if it gets the standard 5v supply from the voltage limiter like the standard gauges or if it gets a 12v supply since its an optional gauge? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you sir. I had started looking for one after reading through this thread and was a bit surprised to see how many senders are for sale without listing any specifications regarding their voltage needs or if they are 80 psi type senders. I think I was overthinking it. Having an application solves my problem.I used the large bell type sending unit that would have been used on any mopar that came with an oil pressure gauge such as one for a 70 b body with rallye cluster. I did keep the oil light by simply keeping the factory sending unit as well. I have a sending unit on each side at the back of the block.

IMO.....the problem with electrical oil pressure (and temperature) instruments is they are subject to the vagaries of electrical systems.....compatibility with the sending unit, steady and a reliable voltage source, loose connections, and overall accuracy. For critical systems.....a direct reading mechanical oil pressure gauge and a direct reading mechanical temperature gauge (which is actually reading vapor pressure of the sensing element immersed in the coolant on a calibrated scale that reads temperature). They are simple devices not subject to the same issues as electrical instruments and respond faster than the electric instruments. In my GTX, i use mechanical Autometer 2-5/8" diameter case instruments, mounted under the dash, canted slightly for better line of sight view. The origional electrical instruments are present and totally functional but because they're thermal type devices, they are slow to respond. .....how did you install yours??? electrically
