I'm restoring 68 Charger in pale yellow color. I want to paint it closer to factory correct look. So the question is how to paint the radiator support panel, inner side of front fenders, inner side of valance panel, headlight panel?
As I see on photos:
1. Radiator support panel - body color
2. Inner side of front fenders - body color
3. Inner side of valance - body color
4. Headlights panel - black(gloss or flat?)
Is it correct?

Thank you in advance

Don't forget, know going in, someone will always be by to tell you "it's not factory correct." Unless you saw your car being built in 1968, you can only follow guidelines. Heck, Chrysler workers only followed them 99% of the time. The thread Bill listed contains good stuff. Send Krazycuda a PM. The blackout wand was a really imprecise spraying process. And done from a floor pit no less.

They only sprayed the front headlight area, lower rad. support to keep the body color from showing thru the grill. The upper rad support stayed body color. The yellow your referring to for 68 was code #SS1 (Sun Fire Yellow). This should be on the fender tag. Best of luck with your Charger

Thanks a lot! Yes, the color will be SS1 yellow. I've seen it in person last year and fell in love with it.
I think I gonna paint it like this. Not 100% correct, but good looking
