Keep it waxed and it’ll be fine! Great job bringing her back.
Great job Dreamcather. Love how the car is looking. Thanks I am not as good as a lot of others on here and this car has been a huge challenge from the start. But I am pleased with progress so far.
Well let me know if and when you ever get up this way (you or anyone else on here) I usually have cold beer and never need a reason for burgers and brats on the grill.Great job Dreamcather. Love how the car is looking.
Gonna have to make another trip to Keystone. Love it there. We always make a nightly pit stop when heading to Yellowstone or Glacier. There's a restaurant that has steer ribs on the menu.....awesome....on the main street.
Color looks GREAT! you’re making solid progress, keep the updates comingView attachment 843508 Well I finished up the taillight panel today. And gave it a promotion from once a slant six to a 426 R/T lol. Of coarse that is just for looks and for my satisfaction. I left the fender tag in place that says what it was. And it has its XP29 serial number.
I was missing one of the brackets that connect the bottom of the grille to the fender. Not sure where I can get one as of yet. I don't see them in any of the catalogs.

I had the same problems with my AMD front fenders. I didn't think about letting the company know about the marker light hole (good idea). Mine was off 3/4 of an inch or so.I replaced both front fenders with AMD fenders. All replaced panels were AMD
I had only minor problem's with the quarters fitment the floor pan and trunk pans fit great. The wheel houses were not a good fit with out modification. But the front fenders were not user friendly at all. The left side marker hole was not in the right place. But after a small battle the company agreed to pay to have it fixed. The right fender did not line up and I had to hog out the bolt holes a 1/4 of an inch to get the fender forward so I could get the door gap even close.View attachment 843338

I contacted AMD they blew me off. I went to the place I bought them. They took pictures and really mounted them about the sloppy workmanship. So I guess they figured they had to do something. I have used several repop companies and there all the same. Some parts are good most require work. Its a crap shoot at best. But if you cant save your factory stuff its what we do.I had the same problems with my AMD front fenders. I didn't think about letting the company know about the marker light hole (good idea). Mine was off 3/4 of an inch or so.
Car is looking great! Keep up the good work.
The burgundy one on top is my 70 Superbird (tribute) the other one that is up and on the left is a 70 mustang 351C 4 speed. the faded blue one is a 69 GTO ram air III 4 speed. And under the mustang is a 71 chevelle SS (tribute) 350 4 speed. The truck nose you see is a 79 150 short box step side 4x4 lifted 9 inches. Most haven't been out of the shop in at least a year. I build them but never seem to drive them. Truthfully I don't even know why I keep them. Something to do I guess.Your Charger is looking great! And looks like you've got quite a stable of cars! What are some of the others?
Thanks I just wanted something different and had the engine sitting around.Great work and I love the engine choice
