I'm reposting this question from over in the body and paint forum. Perhaps someone that visits this one know the answer?

I'm trying to figure out how to paint the tail panel and came across this article attached which discusses how one might approximate the original organosol treatment. Two options are presented: Lacquer or urethane. Do any of you have any experience with this?

Also, are the tail lamp housings painted with the same textured treatment as the panel or are then given a black satin or flat treatment? Thanks!

My friend is getting ready to paint my fenders and we are wondering if the fender brace is body color or were they just over sprayed. Thanks!
