Has anyone used the disc brake conversion kit from The Right Stuff products??
I did talk to their tech support and got a part number for their conversion kit pt. # MCD62SD.
Any experience with these guys?
Thanks

I used one of their kits for my 1970 Road Runner to convert the front drums to disk brakes (I didn't touch the rear). I can't speak specifically to your kit or if it is similar or the same to mine.

The kit was nice, installed well, and as been working flawlessly on my car for 6 years now. It came with everything I needed to convert my car, so the kit was very complete.

Note that they did uncover a casting flaw with their spindles at the time. They replaced them under warranty and I am not aware that the issue has come up again. So bottom line is they stood by their product.

Most of the aftermarket disc brake kits are designed for ‘70 and later front mounted caliper style, which does not work on the pre ‘70 cars with a sway bar as the caliper will hit the sway bar mounts. Solution is to swap the spindles in the kits to rear mount the calipers. Might have to buy some additional brake lines to make it work that way, but that is the fix.

I used there kit to convert a 68 Charger. Worked like a charm.
Car stops great
Dont tell anyone but I used brake flex lines for a early 70s Camaro
