Hi all, regarding 727s...is it normal for them to drain fluid out the tailshaft housing when the driveline is removed? Reason I ask...my uncle has a 68 gtx 440/727 he put it on jacks and pulled the driveline to get new Ujoints, and he said probably a quart or two of fluid ran out...I thought it may be a bad rear seal but wanted to get your input...it may be sitting slightly higher in the front but I thought it seemed weird to lose that much fluid (he thinks he just overfilled it) Anyway thanks for any help on this!
