Thanks 7 they sure will. I can't believe I let this thread slip to page 6. Work, school, and other responsibilities sure are taking it's toll on my build progress this year. I can still hear the Coronet calling out to me from the garage so it's still in the front of my mind to get back to her. 6 more classes after this quarter and I'm through with school. That will free up way more time. Now I just need to figure out how to free up time now to get back out there. By the power of Grayskull I will make it so!!!Fat tires are good!!! Looks great 61
I know the feeling, building this garage has me tied up too. Hopefully the schooling will reward you with a secure well paying job that will free up funds too. Good luckThanks 7 they sure will. Same here right side is done and now working on the left.Looking good there! I am doing the same thing on my 67, have the right side done so far. Keep at it!
I stopped because it got cold for a week or two and the cement floor was not doing it for me. I went to the front and did some metal work and then into the interior and dash.Same here right side is done and now working on the left.
I have wood planks that go across my frame jig so I'm up off the floor and it makes it easier to get up. I'm also close enough to my work that I can see what I'm doing.I stopped because it got cold for a week or two and the cement floor was not doing it for me. And that's another problem...seeing stuff.lol.I have wood planks that go across my frame jig so I'm up off the floor and it makes it easier to get up. I'm also close enough to my work that I can see what I'm doing.
that is great news john. With the great weather we had yesterday I was able to get out to the garage and get some work done on the Coronet. I got the left rear inside wheelhouse cut off for the mini tub. and I was able to start fitting the metal so I can box in the frame on this side as well. No pictures but it felt good to get back out there again.
great to see you back at work john we missed you,and all that great work you are doing.Well here are some pictures of todays work. I'm boxing the left rear frame for the mini tub. Still have more welding to do and hopefully I'll finish that side tomorrow so I can start installing the inside wheel house and mini tub.
