69 GTX fender mounted turn signal location

My 69 GTX came with fender mounted turn signals, but they were left off during a restoration. Is there a template or dimensions I can use to accurately locate them on the fenders?

I'm interested to know how the wiring routes to that fender indicator...anybody have a pic under the hood? Where does it branch off from the main wire group?
