69 GTX Longitudinal Stripe Install?

I have a '69 GTX that came with the V6W longitudinal white stripes and the M33 body side moldings. I have the body side moldings on and I need to install the reflective 3M stripes.

Does anyone know the distance between the moulding and the stripe? How far is the gap?

Thanks! I've seen too close and I've seen too wide. I just wanted the right look...

Also a tip when installing stripes. Mix up some dish soap and water in a spray bottle and wet the car down where the strip needs to be. This will allow you to move the stripe around to get perfect alignment. Then just squeegee the soap out.

Here it is installed. I used 0.70" masking tape for a sight line and a water, soap, & alcohol solution to apply. Worked like a charm...
