69 gtx vin tag

so here is my situation. a couple years back i came across a 69 gtx vin tag with fender tag and title but no car, and all three match. so i know its against the law to sell them thats why iv had them so long but now an old buddy of mine that new about them called and asked if i still had them and if i would be willing to trade for a 69 date coded 6pack set up. so my question is, is it against the law to trade them? and i dont want anyone to get into trouble and i also dont want anyone to get burned if he rebodys another car with the tags so what should i do

I would have to say if he plans on putting them on another vehicle, or selling them to someone that will use them , and you know about it , and "they" could prove it, you and everyone involved could be charged with a felony.

Do the trade if you can live with what he is going to do with them.A piece of paper and two little pieces of metal for a complete six pack set up.He is not going to frame them and hang them on the garage wall is he....

He says he wants to put um with his mopar collection in a glass case and I have seen the glass case. But who knows

If he wants a set of 70 Super Bee "V" tags, radiator support, and Title off a car i stripped out that 9k miles on it when wrecked I got it all. Still got the bank paperwork where they signed the title over to the registered owner,and all notarized for his "collection". I wouldn't mind having another 6 pack set-up.
