69 gtx

[69 GTX]

Just started on my 69 GTX I've had in the garage for 15 years. B5 blue, blue interior, auto on the colum, air grabber , buddy seat with buckets. Just finished getting blasted yesterday, and new quarters & trunk floor showed up yesterday also. Putting in frame connectors & torque boxes before I start on the quarters. Will be asking for advice/info here from you guys. First questions are what paint do I get for the dash/sterring colum they are blue but appear flat & darker than the B5. Also the trunk light was missing, where could I find one? Lastly the front bumper had holes for what looks like rubber bumper strips, is this a option on the 69's or is it the wrong bumper for this car? The rear bumper doesn't have any provisions for this. nice. My 68 RR was dk blue and the interior & trunk blue was a plethora of blues,,,really! I don't know if this helps, but that is what I remember. 40 some years ago, lol.

my 69 gtx has b7 blue int had a boby shop make me some paint w/flating in it. I think the front bumper has bumper guards

Gford, that's almost a perfect copy of mine! Blk top, red stripe below the trim, black stripes on hood with bullet markers on the fenders. I'll try to get some pictures on tonight.
