Dug out the dual front speaker from Ward's

I trial fitted it and didn't like the way it seated to the frame so I got some sticky foam to put on the studs for insulation/gasket.

Then when I checked again on the top the speaker was really close to the dash so I did the same thing in the middle.

Next I wanted to test fit the repop defroster vent so I wouldn't have any surprises after I paint them.
Fit fine, but I did clean up a little flashing on the edges.

Got the map light dug out to polish. Ordered a new lenses for it and hardware.

Next the heater control panel. I found the one off my old RR and it was better than the one off the GTX so I have a piece from my first car on this build. The one on the bottom.

I need to get new tabs for the Fan & temp as they were really bad. Does anyone know of a vender for these? I checked year one, Mega Parts & RT but no luck......

Did you find a place that had the Fan & Temp slider buttons for the heater control?

My car has A/C also so mine are the push buttons. I did buy a new switch box for the buttons from Napa Auto Parts.
Is this what you were meaning?

I don't know if anyone makes new buttons, I haven't looked. I used my old buttons and just added a face sticker to them. I'm hoping they aren't to brittle and brake in the future. My push switch box was cracking and breaking on the switch connections that is why I bought a new one.

If I remember right it uses a fitting at the block and is a snug fit by the motor mount.

You should have your parts in 6 months lol. I'm still waiting on door panels from November.

I may have a used pair of fan and temp buttons but I won't be able to check until next week.

Guess I hadn't given it any thought. Hmmmm maybe at least some screen to keep things from falling through the slots. Like a nylon stocking.......is that an excuse to go to a strip club?
I got the speaker from Ward's radio restoration. If I remember correctly I think about 100$ I'll check their site.

So I stopped at the local O'Rileys yesterday as I needed some "push nuts" I decided to get a bag of 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, & 1/4. This should get me through the car. Bags of 100 all for less than 20$ So if anyone needs a couple let me know I'll hook ya up.

Worked on the heater/ac control. Got the Classic air switch installed. Had to make the connecting rod for the slider button. I think I found a place that has repop sliders so I'll be ordering those. If anyone wants my old ones let me know. I know you can buy the decals but I didn't like that idea.
