When I did my '64 Polara 500 convertible up, I had the bottom of the floor pans painted body colour. It takes a lot more prep to get these to look good in body colour. It looks sharp at shows if you have mirrors under your car to show it. The downside is that it is like having an extra car to wash and detail to keep it looking presentable.
