69 RR Front windshield trim install

Remind all, does the trim go into a clip or does it attach direct to the a pillar trim somehow? TIA

I don’t see a round hole like the other spot for the clips…it’s a rectangular slot kinda…

The slots allow for slight misalignment between the trim and the clips.
