When I bought my Road Runner hardtop, I raised the passenger side window and closed it. The trim on the side of the glass hit the roof rail trim and damaged it. I finally found another piece (that the damn Post Office damaged in shipment) and had it straightened and installed when I was have some minor paint work done lahttp://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=25st week. My body man told me that I was missing the "up window stop" on the passenger side. I searched the web and found a stop here:

http://www.jimsautoparts.com/glass_and_ window_parts.htm

They call it (CP-703339) Door Glass Up Stop Plug (68-70 B Body).

Would this be what I am missing (I've not removed the door panel to look)? If so, where does it mount and in what direction?

I had the same problem. I got a pair through Herb's parts for $12.00. They mount with a phillips screw.

I can't remember if it goes on the regulater or the window guide bracket. Once you get the interior panel off you will be able to tell. Or look at the other side-maybe that one is still there. I replaced both sides while everthing was apart. My invoice just says "up window stop". You will have to call and talk to Bob as this part is not in their catolog. 302-376-8602. Just make sure you don't order the window to regulater attaching rivot. This piece looks similar to what you need and is what most suppliers sell. I had a hard time finding the up stop.

If memory serves me right the stop goes in a hole in the rear bottom of the glass. I believe with the glass in the right position you can replace it in the door. This was a 2dr hdt

That makes sense. With my small hands and fingers, no problem!

This advice did it. I removed the weatherstrip at the top of both doors and shone a light where I expected the stop to be placed. I could clearly see it on the driver's side and it was missing on the passenger's side.

Now all I need to do is buy the stop.

Thanks, 69hemibeep!
