Thank you. We just want to know a ball park kind of number for records and appraisal to get a somewhat accurate number to get the proper insurance and value. This car will remain on the family for a long time to come.
I would say with it needing a little body work and paint, and bumpers needing refreshed it would be in the 20-25k range. Fresh paint and bumpers 30-35k range. If all the little detailing is done to a high standard you could be adding 5-7k to that. Add in any documentation (fender tag and build sheet) and that brings it up a little more).

You have done some really nice work to this point. Keep it up and you will have an awesome car. I have a PP1 red 68 RT stashed away for the future so i really enjoyed seeing your car!

And worth every minute. Sweet. I like it the way it is. Drive it. Enjoy it. Show it. Forget about Galen. It doesn't matter how many. That is a beautiful bitchin beast.

Thank you so much. Just getting into posting pictures and such. Been doing a lot of work to this car, my 70 Swinger, my Harley X 90, and bathroom remodeling. Stretching myself pretty thin these days. This car put a huge smile on the face of my brother the day we picked it up. It needed so much but he wanted to relive his youth having another B body, (69 Charger was his other car back in the day) and through all the hard work we did, the bitching, crabbing, snipping, and sweating all fade into a dream as the result of all that hard work is this car back on the road. That smile on his face is much bigger now that the car is running and driving. Getting to this point was not cheap. I told him I figured the car was about 25K as it sits now. That was my thoughts on it. The good on this car is we started with a car with solid floors, trunk center, all frame rails, and even the dutchman panel. I'm guessing because this car was off the road for so long that helped with the lack of rust but this car did not have a good life sitting in that garage. Going to try to find some of the early pictures. I believe I have some when the car had the 14 inch Magnums on it and the interior gutted and the front clip off. That clip was taken off by me because somebody who had the car prior had the doors out of line and all the front sheet metal on crooked. We had though frame damage so off everything came to check and measure. There was no damage so everything was put back on and I lined it all up. The most important part was using correct parts when building this car back up and not hacking the job retrofitting. One big pain was finding correct rear drums. Seems the only cars that had these drums were the 68 Charger R/T and the 68 Coronet R/T. Tonys Parts came through but after all the hoopla finding them drums it turned out the drums on the car could be turned down smooth so we ended up with an expensive extra set. I have a bunch of take offs from the car that I will be selling. Extra new front seat covers, a used matching rear seat cover, switch bezel pad, glove box pad and we found a new take off two piece stainless and potmetal 68 R/T hubcap with argent scallops instead of black. That cap is almost flawless, only a couple of small pits on it. Think I might just be listing that stuff here soon as sort it all out. There is a set of 14 inch chrome Magnums with nice tires and all 4 caps leftover too.

very nice restore job, btw.

As it sits as a nice driver if I were to sell it I would ask 30k. And wouldn't take any less than 26k .If it still has all original body panels I wouldn't take less than 28k. I would say its worth 26-30k as is.I would insure it for 35k

I hate ‘68’s’.... LOL

Awesome ride Brother, DRIVE IT!!!! Try American Auto Appraisers. They will give you an honest appraisal which you can use as proof for agreed upon value when insuring. Cost me $250 I think, or close to that.

Wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for your encouraging words and advice, help and factual info on this car. With the car still having a long way to go I or my brother will be posting info asking questions and such about things on the car still needing to be repaired. I found a few pics from about 5 years ago when the car was apart and not running and had no brakes, torn up interior and the front sheet metal off to realign.
