Thanks guys. Please don't take this as a lesson in metal work or body work, as that's not what it is. I am a hack at best at metal/body work. If I could pay a professional to do this, I would! Here's where the driver's side repair went and ended up. It's "not bad" but I don't like the welding as it's much more brittle than the base metal but I really don't have the skills to work the metal properly without cutting and welding.

It's looking pretty nasty at this point and I'm wondering if it's going to cost me a fortune to fix it the right way!!

Went from bad to worse when I slit the side to push it out a touch.... no going back...

I ground the side down and it started looking like I was pulling out of the nose dive.... slowly

AAAAAHHHHHH..... light at the end of this tunnel

I still have more work to do to the top, but it'll hold together as long as I keep the rear out of the wall!
