Sick with this midwest weather syndrome. No updates until this goes away.....sucks.

No anyone that wants a tuned viper motor built by a company call TNT a friend has it and is sending me picks of it , in the next couple of days it sure would be bad *** in a bird

Stainless steel brake lines showed up for the rear axles as well as my fiberglass rear bumper from Unlimited. If I felt better, I'd be excited... :angry1:

What brand brake lines?

I bought bulk line, AN tube sleeves and AN nuts along with a 37 degree flaring tool from Speedway to make up my own. I'll post pictures of every little thing as usual, lol.

I am doing just that. Had to watch SGMP drag radial qualifying on the live stream. I was there last year. 200mph in the 1/8mi on a 275 tire, lol. Nothing quite like it.

Luckily it'll be on all weekend to entertain me while I'm sick.....

Not sure how I missed this one:eusa_whistle: Sorry I'm late to the party.Just read the thread,HEMI's & boost get along very well!! You have mad skills my mopar brother. Congrats on the ink, that's icing on your cake.
You said you were using Caltrac springs,I saw the Afcco sliders also. To use those sliders on Caltracs you will need the slider/bushing kit from Afco,or better yet, return the Afcos and buy the caltrac slider. Caltracs come with the bushings to fit a Caltrac spring, caltracs are slightly different.
Been there and it held me up for 2 days!Don't forget to box those stock perches,at your power level the stock ones need all the help they can get.:blob1:

Welcome HEMI-itis, I'm using the CalTrac perches which are boxed. The slider bushings will only take an hour on the lathe to turn new ones. I always have stock on hand for those kinds of projects.

Had most of the equipment that I picked up,,,,,,just had to bring it to an other than my shop,,,,,,,,,,
Bridgeport,lathe,bandsaw,,,,,all,,,,,,NOT MINE!

Not feeling much better, but going nuts in the house. Modified some of the stainless line clips to better hug the axle tubes by drawing them down against a slightly smaller tube to allow for springback.

The ends are tube nuts and tube sleeves put on and then the end of the tube is flared. The rigid brand 37 degree flaring tool is amazing to use. Perfect flare every time.

Had to put a little bump in the line so it wouldn't lay against the weld bead. You can see how nice the clamp lays against the tube.

This one goes into the main portion of the housing so it doesn't need to be curved. I was going to put two of them on this side, but didn't see the need after getting the other clamps on.

Here's the overall view of the line. I need to hit up Keepat to learn the best method for straightening coiled stainless tube.

Looking good! Are you going to paint or clear-coat the rear-end?

Local company is going to powdercoat it. Waiting on shock tabs/ARB tabs/and I still need to weld on the u-bolts pads.

I may stop my build and hire, beg! you to finish my car, some fantastic work your doing here bud!!! Keep on keepin ON!

looking great
what are you doing for a transmission to handle all that power?
I know the GV is bullet proof

I have no choice but to run the 727/GV combo for a while. It has everything from a billet steel drum, CNC steel carbon fiberlined bands, 300M input shaft, bolt in HD sprag, everything you can do to one. I've been told the input shaft is the weak link at the 1500hp mark for this trans so we'll see. Eventually, it'll get a built TH400 in a Reid SFI case.
