Glazing the engine bay. This should be in blue paint in a couple weeks. Amazes me how many pin holes form in the body filler.

I added the braces to the turbo mounts. The mounts weren’t rigid enough as they were so I needed the additional support. The entire mount is removable if need be.

I spent some time sorting out the water tanks and working to finish them. The driver side tank was nearly done just needing paint and some details. The passenger side is still in process but coming along nicely.

Each tank is capable of holding 4 gallons plus the capacity of the intercoolers and lines is probably another 2 gallons per side. I won’t run that much at all. Just enough for consistent temps with E85. Probably won’t run any water with the methanol. Originally the plan was race gas and water/ice in the tanks. Definitely not planning that at this point but will have the ability.

Lots of progress on the fenders this weekend. Still tons of little parts like the fender scoops and hardware to prep and paint as well. We’re painting the front side marker lights blue to blend better so they got blasted and prepped as well.

Wrapping up a lot of small details before paint. This is one among many. I fabbed up the bracket for the rear license plate and it incorporates a slot to hold the bottoms of each bumper half. The license plate still has to fold down as there will be a trailer hitch receiver behind it. I tweaked the reverse light brackets as well to dial in the fit of everything with the bumper. Once my parachute cables show up, I can drill holes for those and the air hose for the chute launchers.
