Finally have it detailed and ready for spring. I see I have a front maker light to fix, but other than that it is ready to go. What do you think of the Oracle lighting? I love the halo lighting. Since they are RGB I can make them any color I like. Enjoy.

Love your car, it turned out so nice. Where did you get the headlights and the dash lights?

Got a pic today from my brother (who also is lurking around here as the new proud owner of a 74 Charger "again"). He took time out of his schedule to go rescue the 71 Charger from the trim shop!!!! Almost complete now!

The '73 Charger that never was..

The Charger that never was... Is a '73 Charger and added the hideaway headlites, R/T hood and taillites, spoilers, and put R/T door "recess" decals, front and rear spoilers! Was a 318 auto car 8 1/4", now a 360 auto 8 3/4" car. Turned out great!

Picked up a clay bar kit and some polish today and did the car. Only got one coat of polish on after the clay bar. Going to apply another coat of polish tomorrow and wax it :headbang:

Both of those are really nice looking cars. I'm gonna require some pictures of that sun roof now though.
 
That sherwood green is really a neat color.

One of the few true greens I really like.

My 74 has a sherwood interior (original white car), and I was planning on painting it sherwood...but alas, the cowl, quarters and now the frame rail have relegated it to parts status. It was 318, rallye dash, buckets and buddy, sunroof, cruise, am/fm, p/w, a/c, rear defrost. Too bad.

I saw your car several times serching for inspirational pics.

Wow that car was/is loaded. You moving all those options/parts over to the 72 or 73?
 
I think I've come to grips that both the 73 and the 74 are parts cars. The 73 has holes in the roof, and the cowl is a mess. I thought I would try fixing it, and even got a nice lower windshield channel...but there are 3, 4, or even 5 layers of laminated sheetmetal, and about 500 spot welds. The original intent was to see if I could replace quarters...but that cowl has me questioning the total man-hours I'd be into it for...

I'm certain I can make money parting it, and maybe I can find a less rusty home for the sweet running 318, 4 barrel and headers it came with. I've got a line on a 68 Barracuda fastback to see tomorrow. was /6 3 speed, but no motor now and $2800 OBO.

The 74 I might break even on, but it's got so many parts that are upgrades for my satellite (uncut rallye dash with clock for one), and the roof I can use to replace the rusted out 72 roof (and hey, now it's a sunroof car!) that it really doesnt matter.

I'll end up with a **** pile of desireable parts, most in duplicate or triplicate, even after I upgrade the Satellite and the 72.

I guess I figure, if I'm gonna make the effort, I might as well put it into the 400 4 barrel car that doesn't have a rusty cowl.

Hopefully I can strip off some of the good parts in time for Don Garlits.

I would definitely do that ... upgrade your 72 I mean, stash your extra cool parts, and part out the rest. Another thing to think about, and sounds like you are, is you would be able to focus on less cars and have a really neat 72 with all those cool options when all is said and done.

Wookie how do you like your stroker 512 with 400. Thats what I want 512 or 551 stroker with 400 and 3.91 posi , what specs is your stroker. Thx nice car..sorry pic threat just pm me thx
