I have a '73 Dodge Coronet 4dr Sedan and I need to find a replacement front passenger glass (and windshield but one thing at a time).
From what I have seen after scouring these threads, there are three options:
call up a local automotive glass dealer and have them custom cut something which means $$$,
hit the jackpot at your nearest junkyard (very unlikely),
or cut your own glass from similar donor glass.
And perhaps a fourth choice albeit obvious, buy new glass from online parts store "hint I wouldn't be posting to forum if I could find it online ;(".
Now out of the 3 options cutting your own glass seems to be the easiest and cheapest. I then ask, what glass should I be looking for if I wanted to do as little cutting/custom work as possible while being affordable (i.e. not blow a 440's worth on windshield and front passenger glass). Another thread suggested using 2dr Coronet glass but I didn't see a response and wanted to ask around if anyone has encountered this issue and further successfully addressed the issue.
