71 charger oil sending unit

m putting my motor back together.

There's two threaded holes on the back of the block. On the driver's side I placed a new oil sending unit. I'm not sure what should placed on the right side.

Yep...72 is right. I'm curious if that plugged hole could be used for a mechanical oil pressure gauge while still keeping the stock electric gauge sending unit?

Yes, It can be used for additional oil pressure gauges or switches. I run oil pressure electric fuel pump cut-off switches on that port.

do you happen to know the hole size?

the oil plugs i have are to large for that.
