I have a 71 Road Runner project I picked up last fall which I'm finally getting started on.

It came with manual drum brakes. I'm waiting on a Stage II 11.75" front disc kit from Dr. Diff.

I didn't order the master/booster yet because I want to make sure I get the right stuff, and the booster on his website didn't look like a stock 71 style B body booster, from what I can gather. I'm still green on the Mopar stuff, so if anyone has input here, I'm all ears. I do know I'll need a disc/drum master cylinder.

My main reason for posting this thread though, is to find out if I need the items below, regardless of which booster/master combo I end up with?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best bet would be to call dr diff back and ask him, he will get you everything you need

Nothing against the buisness but he really specializes in differentials, axles etc. The other stuff is made by others and distributed by him. I'd look around at all options and manufacturers/distributors that specialize in brakes, and brakes only. One of the biggest complaints I read on forums is a mismatch between the booster/master and the rest of the system including calipers. The only people that I know who got it right before marketing is Wilwood but they are expensive. Why anyone would want a "levered" brake master/booster system is beyond me, I prefer a direct bolt-on right to the firewall. I guess levering the combo makes it a universal fit by virtue of the mounting system. Look around online and you'll find there are suppliers out there who know brake systems inside-out. And when something goes amiss you'll have a specialist to guide you.

Yes if your are changing to the factory power setup then you need the firewall plate and the bell crank linkage.
Also Cass, Dr. Diff, does know brakes pretty good and does make some parts that know else is.

Those parts are very much needed I found out when I did my duster disc conversion no getting around it . I know a guy with those in stock if you need them

Looks like Mancini Racing has these:

... but the rod end doesn't look quite like the factory pieces I'm finding on Ebay?

I want to say I remember seeing a post somewhere that this may cause an issue with the brake light switch? I really need to crawl under the dash & take a look at what's already there.
