Hi guys long time member not big poster, but I figure id post my current project in progress. so I bought my 1971 satellite road runner clone 4 years ago when I was 19 ( I know I'm young) and it was in running condition but not what I wanted it to be. so i began the long process of restoring the car. its currently at the halfway point and thought now was the time to share the progress with the car.
here are some shots of the car before official tear down began

318 removal and car being hauled to body shop for stripping

Upon arrival we found out just how much this car was gonna need. after peeling through about an half inch of bondo and heavy paint coats the car was pretty rough. bottoms of quarters and fenders were mostly bondo and rust along with heavy pitting and crushed panels around the wheel-wells. but atleast we knew were we stood.

while all that was going on we started work on the 383 that will being going back into the car when complete.View attachment 184367View attachment 184368
had it bored .40 over new pistons 9.5:1 compression, valve job, new push rods, and a decent cam installed (cant recall cam specs right now).
