Louis, sorry to hear you are still having issues with your shoulders. I went through the whole workman's comp thing when I got hit by a car a few years back. It sucks. Hang in there!
I know the feeling you had then. Years ago I was hit by a passing car too. Luckily I was only clipped by the mirror, and didn't need any treatment.

I didn't realize this, but here in FL you are only allowed to switch your doctor one time if you are being treated by a workers comp carrier. When you change doctors to get a second opinion (or for any other reason) you have to remain with that new doctor, and can't switch back to your old one. So if you do switch, you better do some homework before you pick.
A few days ago I was able to get a second opinion from another doc. He was really shocked that I haven't had shoulder surgery yet, considering the MRI confirmed tears in the tendons and sockets. He immediately told me to stop all physical therapy because he didn't want to take a chance with making my injuries worse. The new Dr. said that tendons do not heal unless they are surgically corrected first.
He also fears that I may now have "frozen shoulder" on each side too, because I haven't been able to move my arms very much due to pain.
He is recommending surgery on each shoulder, (Thank God), and will check to see if my shoulders are actually frozen when he puts me under anesthesia. If I they are, I have to have that problem surgically corrected first, by removing the scar tissue and "freeing up" everything that has possibly healed in the wrong position. That will be followed by the actual shoulder repair surgery a few weeks later.
Worst case I will need 4 separate surgeries, 2 on each side. At least now something is going to being done to correct the problem. He also gave me some medicine to help with the constant pain that I have been experiencing. I should have the 1st surgery scheduled in less than 10 days from now.
Thanks for keeping me in your prayers.
I have a LONG way to go, but it looks like I'm taking the first step forward now.
I'll keep you all posted. Have a great weekend.
