I finally figured out the key has to be on when turning on headlights before the covers will flip up. Well, motor runs but will not rotate the covers is there a source for replacement gears in motor assembly. I assume they were damaged from someone forcing them up cause one side does not go down all the way, twisted rod maybe???. And finally how rare is that headlight option? Thanks

I have a thread about 72 charger options:http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/mopar...20-72-charger-rallye-production-numbers/page2

Although mine is titled 72 rallye options, all options are seperate and can not be linked to one another as in what had what. ex. u can't say a 3 charger rallye's came with hideaway headlights and the rest were se's or regular chargers. It's just the total of how many 72 charger's came with hideaway's. Which out of some 74,000 charger's made in 72, About 22,000 chargers (all models) cam with concealed headlamps.
