72 Dodge Charger Hard top Project

Lol.. I guess that would work, I wonder what the penalty is for counterfeiting money tree money! Ummmm.

Back to the regularly scheduled bat channel...I jacked the car up just to see what was going on with the front end, I suspected everything with a bushing to be worn out since I bought it a few months ago, and haven't really checked out the front end, but did notice upon inspection when I bought it, the front tires were wearing the inside edge pretty hard, plus it was all over the road, I assumed front end was worn out....but to my surprise, when I did a shake down yesterday, all was tight:shruggy: so, I grabbed a tape measure to check the toe, and holy crap on a stick batman:gah: it was 3'4" toe out, damn that's a lot, almost a whole inch toe the wrong way, that would explain the inner edge wear and the wander, made some dirty adjustments, got it close to a 1/8" toe in, drives like a dream, need to make an ever so slight adjustment to re-align the steering wheel, it's close, I need to make sure it's not just from the road crown, gotta hit some flat roads to be sure. Cost to repair...0 $$.

That's a pretty good price to get it there lol, I have to do some repairs, changes on my 73, i don't think ill get away with it quite like you this time lol... Good deal and have fun on those flat roads~!!

Just a short update, after my "dirty alignment" drove it over 600 miles to Wv and back with no noticeable tire wear and tracked/handled great. Haven't done much else in a while, no funds, buying stuff like firewood for winter, home repairs etc, just driving the hell out of it every chance I can afford to waste the fuel.
