72 Satellite NEW toy

Love the look. Really looking to make it more sporty looking. Maybe closer to this.

I like where you're going with this. I personally love body-painted bumpers and blacked-out grille, too. I'm going this same direction with my 1970 Charger, Grendel. I think it looks more sinister. For wheels & tires, 275-60-15's are pretty commonplace on the rears, Cooper Cobras are priced better than BFG's and the reviews seem to indicate they last longer.

255/60/15 on 15x6.5 rallye's.

Look like they should have come on it from the factory.

VERY generous wheel wells.

Consider a 5.9 Magnum swap.

Yes a 403 stroker 360 mag is in consideration as well. So many ideas I have to consider.

"Drop in" 120,000 mike stock 5.9 is a humdinger of an upgrade for under 5K total.

...and likely has 120K more miles.

That is what we have for rubber on 15x6 1/2s. Our 72 was once a bench seat column shift green on green, 318, 904, 8 1/4 car. We drove it lots, painted it white in 1989 w black interior, console and buckets w 150 speedo and tach in the ralley dash, 8 3/4 w 3.23 sure grip. We had fun w the 318 headers, cam, 4 barrel, later added a turbo, but couldn't keep head gaskets in it. Then a 440..Now a stock appearing 542 waiting to fire it up. Also bought a air grabber for it and repairing rust/paint from driving in in the winter in high school and college! It has always been a fun to drive car. If it could talk it would have great stories!
