Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has ever successfully used or set up a manual valve bodied 727tf for circuit racing?
Alternatively has anyone done a decent 5sp manual conversion with anything other than the generic tremec ($$$) boxes? I've been wanting to do some track days with my 360 dodge phoenix(Australia). Any thoughts/advice/opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Graeme.

You'll need a big cooler. Put a fan on the cooler. Make sure the valve body has low band apply so you have 1st gear braking. Other than that as long as the converter is tight you should be fine.

What Doug said, if you’re not capable call Rick Allison at A&A transmission and he will get you set up.

Cool car by the way, got anymore pictures?

Auto trans was tried at Nascar Riverside Raceway
I can't remember who did the trans
I think I know who I could ask
but suggestion about low band apply rules
sprag would never hold up
