Swapping my 318 for a 78 motorhome 440. Been doing some research and there seems to be LOTS of different options for brackets. My vehicle had a complete working factory AC setup, I would like to retain what I can. Can anyone point me to what I need to get the AC and other accessories mounted? Photos or diagrams? I went through the factory service manuals looking for part numbers but its not clear what I need as there appear to be several different setups.

My advice-

Find a big block engine with all those parts and brackets.
...and an AC water pump housing.
Be sure where they all come from and that they will work together.
I'm convinced (barring part number evidence) that-
A- every year AC and non-AC brackets and pulleys were different and not interchangeable.
B- every year brackets and pulleys in general were or could be different and potentially not interchangeable.

appreciated, thats what brought me here. Seems like there is quite a mix of available parts. And aftermarket sounds like it doesn't work out great,

My 74 had the swap, but it only came with 2/70 AC so I can’t help. Sorry.
