I am new here this is my first big block mopar, I would like to have some ideas on how to remove the oil pan on my 74 charger looks like it will be a bear to remove. Any input will be very helpful. I do have the radiator out all pullies removed thought it was the best time to give it a shot. thanks Bill

Are you doing it with the motor in the car or out? If you are leaving it in then you will have to take off the starter. if your exhaust crosses underneath your pan, you will have to drop that also. Then you will have to unbolt your motor mounts. Take a block of wood and put it under your damper pulley and raise it (the motor) up with a floor jack so when you take all the bolts out of the pan you can clear the oil pick up tube. That should be what you need to do.

thanks for the help the help I will give it a try.
