i have the original brouche it says that it is a 74 charger se brougham can any one help with the numbers on the vin plate.As ineed some parts for it

I think WP are the first 2 VIN letters for an SE, but I don't think there's any indication of the "Brougham" status. Both mine are Broughams and have that word on an emblem in a script that looks like the Charger script, on the upper door panels.

Look under the back seat, the build sheet will help you more. The fender tag is the next best place to findout what options the car had.

thanks guys,,, the decoder was good,, it says i have the 175785th Vehicle made at lynch road,,,, it seems in good nick,, cant find any rust anyplace on it with only 40000miles on it,, and the only parts i need for it are the window wiper actuator arms and the hard plastic olive they attatch to,, being in australia its not something i can get from the local wreckers,,, someone has put a 440 b/b in it but i managed to hold onto the original 318 motor,, not sure what to do with it or weather its worth any money but i do know the kids and i like going for drives around town,,, ta for the help,,,

You could put a "wanted" ad in one of the parts for sale or wanted threads.. One of the members here, Joel, was selling some Charger parts if im remembering right, and 71dodgecharger was parting one out if they interchange. just a couple i can think of but worth a try if its that hard to find things where your at! Here is a link to the 71, IF they will inter-change... You would have to PM him since the site has been changed a little... Im sure one of these guys here having Chargers can tell you if they do/will inter-change,
