74 Road Runner from Canada

Hey just found this site and I know it will help me build my bird. I have a 74 RR with a 340 auto, it was originaly a 400 4 speed, but it was changes somewhere along the lines. I will post pics asap, she needs alot of love, and sheet metal so if anyone has any leads on fenders lower quarter or a grille. I am going for I restifacation. Mixing the old with the new, 4 wheel discs tubular k member hopfully a keisler 5 speed(in my dreams). As for the engine I am planning on making her a 401+6 stoker. Any tips, help or feedback will be awesome. Glad to be apart of the site. I am mopar through and through. My daily is a 05 HEMI Magnum, MOPAR OR NO CAR BABY.

Welcome! I am also going for the restification of my 74 RR with sunroof. Would like to build a stroked 440 [maybe 512"] with fuel injection. There are quite a few others here also with 73/4 RR's. Your in good company.

Um 400 4 speed very rare car 1 of 280 built .If you have a fender tag or buildsheet you want to put it alittle closer to stock.

Welcome. I agree with 68383GTS. But ultimately it's your car, and you should do what you want. Just don't get bent when it's time to sell and you can't get what it might have brought if it were stock

Good advice! Mines just a 318 POS from the factory, no big deal. But you may wish to re-think things!

Yeah I would love to throw her back to original bu he way things are looking right now it will be near impossible to back to stock, it's changed hands 6-7 times and each person has left there mark of shitty workmanship. So as it stands the best way to get her going and to start tooling all the fords chevs and imports to to do it up with a little custom flair. I do appreiciate the info I will still keep it in mind.

As long as you do not cut on it you really will not hurt anything.Hell put a 400 stroker with a 4 speed it will be alot of fun.
