A car show in the Arctic

Today we had our only car show, done as only the north can do things. Anything goes, not a concourse restored car in the bunch. Great vibe, virtually the whole town comes out to eat and socialize. No pressure, no competition. Four hours long. No fender tag nazis. The only judging is by the crowd, you drop off a vote on your way out for People’s Choice. Perfect northern fall weather; temp around 70f, and no bugs.

I got there early to get a few pix but it will be elbow to elbow after lunch.
I’m offering up a souvenir shirt on the ‘cuda chick auction if anyone wants one.

I happen to think that it is great! socializing is what it's all about. I own a driver now after owning a professionally restored trailer queen and couldn't be happier! I think that the pics are wonderful. Is there a 'site that we can visit to see more of the rides?

they have a Facebook page, I’ve attached a photo to show the name of the page. It’s a “public” page, anyone can look at it.

BTW the two guys in the photo above are his sons, with the car he built before rat rods were a thing.
