Having worked at Red Line Gauge Works, and North Hollywood Speedometer for years, I've done several hundred clock repairs/quartz conversions, I would mark all of the old movements stating the car they came from....most people didn't want the old movements back, so I ended up bagging them and putting them in a box, just because they were kinda cool and didn't take up much space. Recently I was going through stuff I didn't use...and was throwing parts away that weren't useable...this is what I kept. We did a ton of stuff for "Overhaulin'" and Chip Foose projects as well as Jay Leno's stuff, (who I still do gauges for). A lot of historic stuff for sure, never a dull moment. 123.JPG124.JPG125.JPG126.JPG127.JPG128.JPG129.JPG130.JPG131.JPG132.JPG133.JPG

Those are pretty cool. Are they still in usable/working condition?

Most interesting.

The clock in my '62 still keeps perfect time. Amazing considering how old it is!!

Majority of those you posted look the same - are they all from the same manufacturer?

Mine works for a few seconds when the car is being started...then it stops again.

Very cool & interesting, thanks. Especially the turbine car, I remember when Chrysler did that car... it was the "future", just as the Wankel was a few years later.

Yes, they were made by the same manufacture, Borg Clock.

Sometimes you can clean the points contacts and use some clock oil on the pivot points and get them working pretty well....surprisingly they can be pretty accurate, (for a little while anyways!).

Nice work...

It's nice to see guys who can do some of these specialty stuff, it's cool you worked at Red Line Gauge Works, must have seen & done some very cool stuff working there....

Cool. Nice avatar too! Is that a T7 Bronze Coronet 500? Just asking because I have a T7 Bronze '69 Coronet 500, but it originally had a white top.

Hello 451Mopar, my car is actually T5....it's a little faded , (the paint is still original). Do you have any pictures of your '69 500?. The '69 R/T's and 500's have always been one of my favorite Mopars...I love the triple tail lights.
