A helpful guide to quarter window installation. 66/67 Chargers

Need a little help here working on a 67 Dodge charger power windows. All but the right rear window works fine But when it goes down just before the stop the window acts like it goes over center. Now when l close l have to kinda pull up on the window kinda up and forward then the window will go up on its own. would the rear track be upside down or is there something else going on. The drivers side works just fine and after reading this posting l think this could be the problem. Did discover that the springs were upside down

If anyone needs to reattach the chrome piece that holds the quarter window seal (Soffseal CH1023), there are stainless steel rivets out there that will work. I found mine on Amazon but had to buy a bulk package so I have extra if anyone needs.

I wish I had found this when I started working on my quarter window. It took many steps to arrive at the clamp pictured. 1st step after failure was to weld up the swivel on the clamp, 2nd was the positioning washer on the other end ( fits over the back of the stud in the arm and really helped with lining up the clamp) 3rd was to shorten the screw on the clamp so it would fit between the mechanism and the body. After many tries and fails and bruises and cuts, I super glued the washers on the welded swivel and got the clip on in 1 minute.
