Hey! Thanks for the opportunity to join a great site. I'm happy to say I once again own one of my favorite Mopars. it's a 1976 Chrysler Cordoba. Black exterior, black half vinyl top, red interior (non-Corinthian). 400-4 barrel, TF-727 column shift, 8 1/4 rear. Hardly any options. No A/C, no power windows or door locks. In fact, it weighs in 400lbs. lighter than my first Cordoba, and that had a small block in it. My first Mopar was bought when I was a Junior in high school. It was also a 1976. It was silver, silver half vinyl top, blue interior (non-Corinthian). 360-2 barrel, TF-727 column shift, 8 1/4 rear. That one was loaded with options. Blew the tranny three times doing left-hand-turn burn-outs (Tranny guy finally told me that doing that was blowing up the aluminum sprag, hence my transmission problems). What did I know? I was a stupid high school kid having fun. My two other Mopars were a 1977 Dodge Aspen R/T, and a 1977 Dodge Ramcharger. My family has been pretty brand loyal since my dad bought his used 1956 Plymouth Belvedere back in 1959. Thanks in advance for the help provided on these pages.

hi and welcome to the site when you get a chance post some photo`s of yours :headbang:

Hi Problem Child II, welcome to the forum! Thanks for the history - what are your plans for the Cordoba?

-=Photon440=-

Hey Photon440! My plans for the Cordoba are mainly to enjoy it as I slowly make it into the car I wanted my old one to be when I was in high school. I'm pretty much "old school", so it will definitely have that vibe. I want to get the *** end up in the air a bit, the front as well, but it will definitely have some rake to it. Some fat mag wheels out back (15x8.5 or 15x10's) and matching 15x7's up front. Headers, dual exhaust for some ear candy. Better rear end eventually (when she starts making some real HP). I'd love to eventually find some bucket seats, console, floor shift, and non-shift column. A 451 stroker if I ever find some money lying around doing nothing. A respray of the black paint, probably when the vinyl top goes ( I have the non-vinyl rear window trim from a 1977 Charger SE for when that happens). Not much else beyond that, and I'm not in much of a rush for it to happen. As money comes along, I'll start doing some things.

Welcome from Maine! Sounds like a good plan!

Welcome from another Dobie owner. Mine is a stripped down '77. Don't see too many with no air. Glad to see another one on here. Mine started out with a 400 but now it has a worked over 440, 727 w/3000 stall, and an 8 3/4 w/430 gears. Bruce Shoot us some pics.

Welcome from Minnesota.
