That probably got messed up in the translation - mine were an old leathery/tough weave material ....and I had my Upholstery guy make new ones from an old seat belt. There...I think that's right.

No offence, but you suck! I wish I could spend that much for such niceties! I've always loved the look! I just wish my /6's rear main seal didn't piss oil like a old man/w a bladder control problem at any speed over 45, but still fun to drive!!

To be honest, while driving would be difficult to do while concentrating on the road (can you text and drive without wandering lanes?) - however it is very feasible for a passenger with minimal tools to make adjustments on the fly - carb and distributor adjustments.......so yes is the answer.

I just like to pop the hood while cruzin and listen to that little /6 suckin in the air and hummin along. It's kinda cool as you can't do that with a car!
My 'forward control' work vans are difficult to do that as the passenger seat forms the engine cover.....and besides, there ain't nothing romantic about listening to a Japanese 4-cylinder diesel engine thumping away.
