Have my gearbox torn down for rebuild so far it’s been a straight forward process. It needs bearings for sure and the synchros looked good but will replace them while I’m here as well
as the needle bearings for the counter gear. Got all the parts from Passon and Brewers both
have been great folks to deal with. Toughest part of the whole process so far was getting the housings clean inside. Here’s some pics of the whole mess
I sandblasted the housing and etched primed them gonna paint Eastwood
spray gray 2k urethane once I get it all assembled.
