Can't say I know much about this guy or the business in general, but I can sympathize with some of what he's saying. However, talk about burning your bridges... Honda dude is gonna be pissed.
Yup reap what you sewThis guy is nuts, no wonder all he works on is **** boxes
Best thing to do instead of listening to someone complain is to just mention. That shop down at the other end of the block is open for business. And they may take your money for a lesser amount and the job will reflect it.Went in less than 5 minutes. Built several engines for others over the years and well, most didn't have a clue what was going on then try to negotiate price. One guy even told me I didn't have the overhead like a commercial shop does since my shop is in my back yard. Damn dude, you been opening my mail and checking my bills?? Told him he needed to move on. When I started doing rear ends, things got better since so many had no idea what was going on inside them.....heck, sometimes I don't either!
Since most of you stated that you only made to the 5 minute mark before bailing...I didn't even try. Thanks for sparing me from that waste of time...
