If I remember correctly, if you order parts online, it is billed through a different company under their corporate umbrella. Different rules apply.

When the website says Advance Auto I could care less who bills it. After a couple of email to customer service they gave me all my money back but that never would have happen if it said “two year money back guarantee”

Keep your receipt with the 3 year warranty, and use it if or when the new battery fails.

In this case that does not work, it is in their system now that it has been replaced, and only had 12 months after that date, even if they look up the original receipt it shows it was replaced. Optimas do not like to sit over winter I was told, so it is now in a daily driver with no issues. Advance is not all bad I bought a belt tensioner, they replaced it twice and gave me my money back the third time, about 300k miles in winter/salt so even the part was decent, just that's all they last then start squeaking. The tensioner was also an internet purc hase, as all my advance stuff is for the discounts they gave, battery has been the only quirk.

I bought a battery in 1975 with unlimited lifetime warranty as long as I own the car. The car was last driven in '85 but I still own it. Every couple years the battery dies from just sitting under the workbench. I walk in with it and out with a new one. Canadian Tire !!

I cannot see how that can bee. CTC dropped all lifetime batteries 15 or so years ago. I worked for CTC back then. We even put a call into Corporate when a customer complained. Sometimes they did warranty it but the new battery only had a 2 year replacement and 5 year pro rated warranty. No more lifetime warranty. I was treated that way with my own batteries also. No more CTC batteries for me. I tried at other CTC stores and got the same. No more life time warranty on batteries. U have a great store if they are still honouring your warranty. Kim
