:eek:ccasion5:I know this post should go to FABO wich it will but I thought it could be informitive for any of you out there that may have an Aeromotive fuel pump and are struggling to find a good location to install it? First off, they can sell their billet mounting brackets to someone that has more money than me or doesn't have the time or ability or equipment to make their own. I made everything out of aluminum and researched several locations on my 68 Barracuda to locate this pump but behind the rear seat belts backing plate on the bottom side of the car just seemed to be the best fit do to the size of this pump. I used aluminim bar stock 1/2" thick by 4" and the fuel filter has a toal height of 2 3/4" by 4 3/4" long (mounts nicely on bottom side of spare tire well with aluminum backing plate on inside) and the bracket for the pump 3 1/4" tall x 5 1/2 " long. This bracket needs to come in two part so you can slide it past wiring harness on pump. If anyone wants a print on how to fab these I am more than willing to share my prints?

I dig the fab work. Just noticed that your pump is higher than the tank.....should be lower than the tank.

I researched several different locations and found that this option was the lesser of all the other evils. It was either directly in the way off exhaust or way to close or was hanging out from the back or side of the car in plain view or directly behind tire which would have required some type of shield?
