After a bunch of time searching pics and badges finally have that part done. This car had All the badge holes welded up when it was done by previous owner.
It was a pain redrilling and installing them. New custom rims 15x8 rear 15x7 front and poverty caps Big look change.
Some pics are from how it was when I bought it. I know headlights are ugly but they were on there and the one time I drove it after dark they were brighter than my 22 Ram.
Needs chrome bumpers next. Saving $$$$
Some pics.

It's not crooked just pic came out like that. The 500 emblem took some fitting to get it close to the body the way it was cast.

I love it as is. My 65 500 has all the trim, emblems etc and are in very good shape. I'm a de-badge type but am going to leave the 65 alone due to the trim condition and history of the car. On my Duster and Challenger, took that stuff off. When its exterior update time for body/paint, the bright work including the wheels will get Cerracote instead using a matte bronze finish. Looks like your ride is Ruby Red Poly. Thats what mine is originally. Porsche red now but am going to put it back to RRP starting off in the engine compartment,

I looked at getting more of missing trim but have other priorities first on it. My charger has been de-badged and re-badged a few times. These older cars Need the Chrome.

That's how you do it brother. Research, Youtube Collage, and the will to jump in and do it. With metal, mess-ups can always be restored!

Thanks for asking. 6 going on 7 years ago I was doing experiments with pot metal/spelter Long story short, skipping over time and expenditure I wish not to remember, I developed a method to weld pot metal. Along the way and after 37 years, I was forced out of the auto restoration industry for health reasons. But before that happened I had started our Pot Metal Repair service working it only a couple hours a day. But God had another plan for us (wife and I)... As soon as I got feeling better the business started getting some traction and here we are. It's a very small niche, but enough for two people to make a sustainable living without punching a clock for someone else everyday.

But more on the welding, I don't speak about the process for obvious reasons, however due to its unpredicable impurities, internal decay not to mention detonation issues, it is still in constant development. The process is so tedious and can be somewhat dangerous if parts have been subjected to any type of petrolium based products - parts can explode... However nuts that may seem, we've developed ways to work around this issue for a safer, successful repairs/restorations. We like to call our repairs restorations, becasue whether it's pot metal mechanical parts or spelter antique art, we can restore the strength and apprearance of any given piece. And if we can't restore it, we certainly can make new parts and or missing pieces to make a broken incomplete part whole again.

Ok. Rather than I keep rambling on, I apologize for spelling and or grammar. It's not one of my strongest skills my any means. But feel free to visit my site at: Pot Metal Repair | Welding | Casting | James Ruther – Pot Metal Repair Welding Casting by James Ruther

Anyhow, I very much appreciate you asking. Thanks again for your interest!

Cool. Always good to know of someone to repair pot metal pieces. I personally don't need any done but here and there I hear of someone in need.
