hello all
Want to install a mega hemi Siamese block into a 69 RR wondering if while car is down installing a 26-inch radiator opening currently i have a 22 inch
is it nessesary
street machine clutch fan with 160 thermostat automatic
thank all for your advice

If it was mine, I wouldn’t cut it up for a 26 inch radiator unless I was gonna have A/C or use it for towing. I would also use 180° thermostat.

I also have a Mega block 528 in my Challenger that I street drive and it makes over double the horsepower my other cars do, with a 26" core support and 26" radiator. It also runs way cooler than the other as well. I never see above 171 degrees in this car even in normal traffic on a 95 degree day.

I have a custom made 26" aluminum radiator with dual electric fans to look like a Mopar radiator. This particular car makes more than double the horsepower my other cars do and it runs cooler than all of them. I have never seen about 171 degrees even on 95+ degree days. I always run 190 thermostats to warm the engines up faster and reduce wear. Stock 22 inch cooled my 426 well for years. I used stock 26 inch rads for my 472's and 528's. Stock shrouds and stock fans and fan drives, no problems. I live where it's around 100f in the summer.
