Aint this heartwarming....

If you get a chance, watch the outakes video they also posted. There's one guy that Santa tells "You're going to wish you had asked for a big screen TV" and another guys says he wants the Bruins to win the Stanley Cup and Santa says "I'm not a miracle worker. They're in the Eastern Conference!" :)

It's a pretty effective commercial that can make any airline look good.:plane:

RC/DH in the spirit of the giving season, that was cool for the Airlines to do, for the travelers & especially the kids... I was it on the news last night too, pretty cool & heart warming/giving gesture... what's up with the Blue Santa thou

Blue Santa is probably because there's a lot of blue in WestJet's colour scheme.

yeah I knew that, just making an observation, kind of obvious with all the blue everywhere, but is that really a necessity?? Christmas tradition should mean something, couldn't Santa still been in Red, the elf's in blue or something, it's just marketing gimmick I guess... I'm just saying, but it was still a very nice gesture thou...

I guess you're right, I can't recall any traditional blue Santa. But depending on how far back you want your tradition, the St. Nick of England, the Dutch 'Sinterklaas', the German winter forest spirits were all dressed in green. Red is mostly a 20th century thing (no, it wasn't Coke's idea). Then again, airlines were also a 20th century idea, so let's mix it up!

If I was on that flight, I'd have been bummed out to be the guy who asked for socks!

That would have taken a lot of coordination and effort to say the least. What would have been the time frame? Good Job!

Just like E. F. Hutton, when I talk, everybody listens.
