Hey has anyone on here done or know of someone who has done the air ride technologies bag suspension swap? I can really find any pictures of a road runner with it installed. Thanks.

Hell yes, DO IT!!!

Mopar it's not a dumb idea when they work and very well. Different strokes for different folks my friend.

So are we gonna do this? If so, post ALOT of pics!

Go for it! Spend $7000, weeks of custom fab work and end up having a car that handles no better than it would with a well rebuilt stock suspension.

If I had a pro touring type car I probably would have air ride on it. I was always intrigued by the idea of it but since I'm just a lowly drag racer, my pro touring dream car will never come to fruition! Order up and post the conversion.

7k not sure where you're looking bud, but air ride tech has a kit for 5200 and it's all bolt on.

5200 and hidden cost of making it drivable again. Other than spending a bunch of money just what is the big benefit?

Well I guess you would t know unless you ride in a air ride vehicle. I had a truck on air and it rides like a Cadillac and handles great. It's also fully adjustable which is great. From a money stand point it's cheaper than an rms/magnum force front k kit by far and Which doesn't even include the rear. Anywho, you like or you don't.

Ummm, when are you gonna start the install? I'm so jonesin' for pics on this set up! Air Ride is BADASS!!

I looked into it and decided not to do it. Performance doesn't change. The only real advantage is that you can slam it. When working with a road runner, you will most likely devalue the vehicle as well as put out significant dollars.

Wow, that's pretty rude!!! No actually because I just have never done it..... pretty simple reason for not replying?

If you do it make sure to post it, sounds cool to me.

It must be easier on Fords and Chevies. I saw them do it on Musclecar to a Mopar, and they had to cut the frame to fit the airbag strut in the front. Not sure it was the air ride kit they used though...

Chevy and Ford used coil springs in the front suspension. Drop the coil and install a bag no big deal.

Call me crazy.......But I have a 65 Satellite restomod and will be installing a 4 link on the rear with air front & rear in the next couple of months (after the holidays) and I know there are no performance benefits. I just want to be able to slam it at the shows and have fun with it. Also I hope by putting on the 4 link and getting away from leaf springs I might be able to get just a little more tire under the rear without tubing.

Very cool! Please post some pics of the installation as it happens if you can!
