oh man, say that ain't so! Yikes!Maybe the spider gears broken in the rear differential? I doubt that the brake has enough grip to seize a wheel locked up completely. Sounds like a problem in the rear end!

but...would a rear differential lock up then un-lock more than one time? or when the differential locks, its locked and that is all there is to it?Maybe the spider gears broken in the rear differential? If one side E brake cable is siezed the shoes on that side get hot. When they get hot the friction coefficient is poor. The opposing side will grab sooner as it gets hotter..How does a car with rear wheel drive, and the parking brakes on the rear wheels, cause the tires to squeal from locking up? If the rears are locked, the tires can't slide, but the car won't move either....
