Always wear protection, how would wearing a condom have helped. I don't get it.......... asking for a friend.

Wearing a condom in full stretch mode would have put the guy at least 6 inches further away out of harm's way.

I agree! but when it's a free company phone. I'll put up with it being old and sometimes problematic.

^^^ they have an RPM limit too ^^^
some put them on **** (like a 10,000+ RPM peanut grinder)
or jacked up air pressures on an angle grinder they shouldn't
with way too much RPM

&/or they get over tightened

the cutting wheel/blade explodes

Yep, have many photos of skank grinder setups in my travels and bad use practices; a few were after someone got seriously injured. This is one I found in a shop and explained to the employee why this was a dangerous setup showing the RPM of the grinder and the wheel: Wheel’s capacity was several thousand RPM less than the die grinder. ‘Oh’ he says. Took it to his supervisor asking him what was wrong with this. ‘No guard’ he says. I said look at the RPM rating on the grinder and on the wheel. ‘Oh right’ he says. Next time I’m at this shop, there’s this grinder back on the employee’s bench..
