I just wondering if im crazy or just a little nuts. I have a 67 Plymouth Satellite wich i have wanted one for about 20 yrs. since I got rid of the last one I had. I would of given anything for another and now I have it,BUT now that I have built a 440 for it and have it to where you can drive anywhere and get there in a hurry, I find myself lookin around. Ya know kinda window shopping,Super Bees, Road Runners certian Chargers and Challengers. I am 37 yrs. old and have had around 70 cars most Mopars. Why cant i just stick with a car?

thats a nice looking car. why not stick with it? sometimes i admire those folks who are always changing cars. i'm the opposite. i get'em. put too much of myself in'em and can't get rid of them; even though i know at my age they have to go away. i bite and can't spit the hook out. last saturday i seen a old friend who had a '66 belvedere 383 4spd. a really neat car. he bought it new and then sold it. he always wanted that car back and 20 or so years later built another 66 belvedere, and sold it. anyhow, after a few years of searching he found his 2nd belvedere and bought it back. swears he'd never sell it again. a happy ending!

Tell me about it.

I'm going to look at a 67 Barracuda tomorrow, and I have 3 projects in progress.
At least you have a finished car!

Nice car BTW!

Best remedy is too park it in your garage, stand there for about 20 minutes just walking around it and looking over every body line every molding part and and all off a sudden you will be in love all over again...works every time lol.

I know what you mean.

I do that and then I get on the internet and look around.....lol! I think its a disease!

Thats a beauty you have there! I used to be that way years ago but not anymore, I keep looking for a 69-70 RR and hope i find one i can get but at the same time i don't want to get rid of my Satellite, 7 years i grew to really appreciate a car thats not the choice of most and having a ball doing it.

It is more than a disease,it's a sickness! But admitting you have a problem is the first step for a cure. Personally I have no plans on being cured.Beautiful car you have!
In my humble abode sits....... 69 Superbee, 69 Roadrunner, 66 A100, 72 A body 440 4spd,64 Fury 383 (now) w/5 speed, 66 "chebbie van" w/440 727 &8 3/4. There's a 392 hemi in the living room. full race 440,two fours, bla bla bla in the "man" room. with enough engines and speed parts to open a store after collecting (ok hording)for 40 years. All I can say is God Bless My Wife because she Gets it!
Good luck!!

Nah...I think thats kind of natural for guys in this hobby. Not only do we love these cars, but we also love working on them, searching out parts, exploring different ways to build them, etc.

Its like Solitaire....its fun to play until you win, but then its just boring.

Lets see.....66 Coronet, 2 69 Roadrunners, 68 GTO, 69 GTO, 69 Camaro convert, 72 Chevelle, 2 78 Camaros, 87 Buick Grand National, 70 Monte Carlo, 85 Monte Carlo SS.....and others...

NOPE, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!

I bought my car to FLIP it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,25 years ago:eek:
Been sayin it for years"Hemi-itis has no cure":glasses1:

You're not alone. They are just toys to me, I don't get attached to them. I own one for awhile, then sell it to someone else and get another fun toy. There are so many great cars available!

Great looking ride. Don't get rid of it. Just go get a set of red lines and magnum 500s and change out with the ARs every other month. You'll think you have 2 different cars. So will everybody else.
